Ashlyn Steding, Chanhassen. Steding had 55 assists, and Chanhassen needed all of them, in a 3-2 victory over Metro West Conference foe No. 10-3A Benilde-St. Margaret’s. Steding is having a solid season setting up her teammates. She is 10th in the state in assists with 543.
Brylie Schultz, Wheaton-Herman-Norcross. Schultz recorded 10 service aces in a 3-2 win over Hancock on Oct. 12. She added 14 kills in the performance. Wheaton-Herman-Norcross is 7-2 in the Pheasant Conference and 10-6-1 overall.
Elle Lind, Cannon Falls. Lind dominated the net with seven solo blocks and three block assists on Oct. 14. Cannon Falls won 3-1 over St. Croix Lutheran and are 5-2 in the Hiawatha Valley League and 23-5 overall.
Mary Cate Ziembiec, Chanhassen. Ziembiec finished what Steding set up. She had 28 kills in an Oct. 11 win over Waconia. In the close Benilde-St. Margaret’s win, Ziembiec had 31 kills.
Andie Sandman, Park Christian. Sandman had a great week for Park Christian. She had 34 digs in a 3-1 win over Mahnomen/Waubun on Oct. 11. She had 16 digs and 17 digs in a 0-3 loss to Ada-Borup and a 3-0 win over Win-E-Mac, respectively.
Sarah Bohrer, Edina. Like Sandman, Bohrer was busy recording double-digit digs last week. She started with 24 digs in a 3-1 win over Lakeville South on Oct. 11. She followed that game with 26 digs and five service aces in a 3-1 win over Maple Grove one day later. She topped off the week with 11 digs in a 0-3 loss to No. 9-4A St. Michael-Albertville.
