Lakeville South Cougars won their second home game of the season with a clean sweep of 3-0 against Tartan. The Cougars were able to run a fast paced offense due to great passes and serve recieve throughout the match.

Halle and Maddie Johnston made the perfect passer-setter pair for this match, Halle having a nearly perfect serve recieve record and Maddie collecting a total of 21 set assits for the team.

Key hitters tonight were middle Jenny Mosser and outside Ciara Nervick. Mosser led the team with a total of 17 attack attempts. Nervick used Tartan's blocks to her advantage and scored a total six kills along with seven attack attempts.

Each team leveled the playing field with tough serves in all three games. Cougars had a consistent night with 10 service aces and over 51 good serves. In opposition, nearly every game the Tartan Titans were able to score five service aces.

The Cougars will be playing Eden Prairie this Thursday.  Tartan's next game is also this Thursday, a home game against Irondale.
