We task our reporters with identifying several intriguing games throughout the state to assemble our Top Games of the Week. The matchups are presented in no particular order, and when there are additional games we want to highlight, we’ll include them with brief notes.

Benilde-St. Margaret's vs. Delano, 7 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 4. Delano (12-5, 2-1) lost two of three after climbing into the Class 3A rankings at No. 10. Getting back on the winning track against No. 8-3A Benilde-St. Margaret's (10-4, 3-1).

Watertown-Mayer vs. Southwest Christian, 7 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 4. These perennial Class 2A powers are meeting for the third time in four seasons. No. 9-2A Watertown-Mayer (16-6, 3-1) is still seeking its first victory over No. 6-2A Southwest Christian (13-6, 2-0).

Zumbrota-Mazeppa vs. Kasson-Mantorville, 7:15 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 4. No. 3-2A Zumbrota-Mazeppa (13-4, 2-1) is often overlooked by outsiders in the strong Hiawatha Valley League. But conference high-flyers such as No. 3-3A Kasson-Mantorville (10-3, 5-0) won't overlook the Cougars.
