Nevis comeback defeats No. 2 seed

Mayer Lutheran won the first set before the Tigers stormed back.

Nevis’ big hitters Riley Hanson and Megan Norby proved to be too much for No. 2-seeded Mayer Lutheran.

The duo combined for 46 kills as the Tigers (25-9) spotted the Crusaders (21-14) the first set, then roared back to win the final three sets.

Mayer Lutheran was hurt by its own errors, posting a team attack percentage of just .099.
