On Sept. 13, 2011, the Long Prairie-Grey Eagle Thunder hosted the West Central Area Knights. The girls dominated their opponents winning 3-0 (25-7, 25-10, 25-17).

The Thunder had strong serves going throughout the match, while WCA struggled with their serve receive. Lesley Roe and Emi Jansen led the team with four aces each.

“I was pleased with our performance and ball distribution,” head coach Brad Hollenhorst said. “We gave a lot of people chances to be successful swinging and got contributions from the entire team.

Jenna Langer led the team with nine kills and seven digs.
