On Sept. 13, the Browerville Tigers hosted the Eagle Valley Rebels for a conference match. The Tigers were able to shrug off some struggles to defeat the Rebels 3-1 (25-21, 25-27, 25-14, 25-20).

“We started off a little shaky,” coach Mary Irsfeld said. “It seemed we were always missing one or the other whether it was the pass, set, or attack.

The team held it together and pulled out a nice conference win.

Abby Aksamit led attackers with eight kills while Megan Kruzel added seven. Teal Line finished with 11 set assists while Katelyn Middendorf had nine.

Line did a nice job serving finishing with five aces. Ludwig added four. Ludwig also finished the night with 24 digs. Kruzel also did a nice job finishing with 19 digs.
