On Thursday, the Cardinals traveled to Clarissa to take on the Eagle Valley Rebels. Upsala was able to shake off some early struggles to win 3-0 (25-13, 25-19, 25-13).

Aimee Pelzer led the Cardinals with 12 kills and added 10 assists. Donna Ripplinger also had 10 assists on the night.

“We struggled with serve receive and did not cover the floor well at times,” head coach Ken Solarz said. “On offense we did a good job setting the up tempo style we have been working on.”

The win improved their record to 4-0 overall and 3-0 in conference play. The Cardinals have yet to let any team take a game off them this season.
