Cardinals remain undefeated after win on the road

On Tuesday, Sept. 13, the Upsala Cardinals went on the road to take on the Swanville Bulldogs.

Upsala was looking to take down another conference opponent after defeating Browerville the week before. The Cardinals found their rhythm after a close Set 1 and took the match 3-0 (25-23, 25-12, 19).

“Swanville had a really good attack going in the first game and had us on our heels,” head coach Ken Solarz said. “We were able to make the adjustments in our blocking scheme, started passing better, and settled down to allow our offense to get going.”

Aimee Pelzer played a great match leading the team with 10 kills and 11 set assists. She also had eight digs on the night.

Brianna Westrich led the team with 18 digs while MaKenna Peterson finished with 12.
