It didn’t take five sets for the Red Wing volleyball team to pick up a victory over Rochester Century Tuesday and maybe that’s a sign that things are headed in the right direction for the Wingers.

Red Wing (8-5, 1-0 Missota) got a 25-20, 18-25, 25-17, 25-23 victory that featured a more consistent attack from the Wingers.

Red Wing senior Maggie Jonas notched 13 kills to lead the team while senior Abby Ulveling added nine and senior A.J. LaFord had eight kills.
