All-metro first team

All-Metro first-team members sound off on….

What is your hidden talent?

If you ruled volleyball, what would you change?

Who is your biggest volleyball influence?

Elizabeth Juhnke Strategizing, doing puzzles and board games. Less subbing so you are forced to develop players. My parents.
Kennedi Orr I am secretly good at pogo sticking. I would make it legal to cross the 10-foot line when back-row attacking. My sister Brie [who plays at Iowa].
Rachel Kilkelly I can do an aerial [cartwheel]. Play balls off the walls and the scoreboards. My mom, because she has always pushed me to be the best I can be, She has always been my biggest fan.
Ellie Husemann I can jump into a pool without getting my hair wet. That you don’t have to follow a rotation. My coach [Kathy] Gillen. I’ve known her since I was in sixth grade and she’s always been my role model.
Izzy Ashburn Braiding. Challenges in high school. Sydney Hilley [who plays at Wisconsin].
Mari Hinkle I can do a backflip. The net rule. My sister [Jordan] because she is the one who got me into volleyball and coached me with defense.
