Champlin Park’s Izzy Ashburn knows she has a pretty good gig.

The Rebels’ senior setter has a wealth of front-line talent around her. Her biggest concern is often which great option to choose.

Ashburn deftly spread the ball among her hitters Thursday, guiding Champlin Park to a 25-12, 27-25, 25-17 victory over Wayzata in the Class 3A, Section 5 championship match.

The victory sends the Rebels to the state tournament for the fifth consecutive year.

When asked if she feels lucky to have so many choices, Ashburn, who has committed to play for Wisconsin next year, responded with a big grin.
