We task our reporters with identifying several intriguing games throughout the state to assemble our Top Games of the Week. The matchups are presented in no particular order, and when there are additional games we want to highlight, we’ll include them with brief notes.

Other games to keep an eye on

East Ridge at Stillwater, 7 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 9. East Ridge (14-6, 6-0) can likely lock up a second-straight Suburban East Conference title against No. 8-3A Stillwater (14-5, 6-0). Both teams are unbeaten in conference play. The No. 5-3A Raptors won 3-2 last year at home.

Southwest Christian vs. Norwood-Young America, 7 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 11. The Minnesota River Conference crown is very much up for grabs, and Southwest Christian (15-6, 4-1) and Norwood-Young America (20-7, 5-1) aim to knock each other out of the running.
