See who fans voted top performer for the week of Sept. 17-22.

Athletes are considered for the weekly top performer poll only if their stats are entered on the MN Volleyball Hub by 10 a.m. on Sundays. If coaches or members of their staffs need access to enter stats, please email mnhubs@sportngin.com.

Fans Choice for Top Performer

Ava Schmoll, Forest Lake. The Rangers are on a seven-game winning streak, and Schmoll’s play on the back line has been a big reason why. The senior libero is among the state leaders in digs with 253. She recorded 22 in a 3-0 win at Park of Cottage Grove on Sept. 18 before a consistent finish to the week: 13 digs in a 2-1 win over Duluth Denfeld, 13 digs (plus four assists) in a 2-1 win over Princeton and 11 digs and four aces in a 2-0 win against Anoka.

Top Performer Candidates

Kira Fallert, Concordia Academy. Fallert had a huge week for Concordia Academy. The sophomore outside hitter had 22 kills and 26 digs in a 3-2 loss to Hill-Murray on Sept. 17 before racking up 53 kills in five matches and leading the Beacons to a second-place finish in the Class AA showcase tournament Sept. 21-22 in Burnsville. In the event, she had 10 kills in a 2-1 win over Southwest Christian on Sept. 22 and totaled 11 more in a 2-0 win over No. 8-2A Belle Plaine the same day.

Maizy Jackson, Benilde-St. Margaret’s. Jackson recorded 23 kills and 11 digs in a 3-2 win over Woodbury on Sept. 17 and had 21 kills and 21 digs in a 3-1 loss to Chanhassen three days later. Then, over the weekend, she added 33 kills in four matches at the River Falls (WI) Tournament. Her 212 kills this season rank fifth in the state.

Dresden Pass, Minnetonka. Pass leads the state in assists — appropriately — with 566 and helped the No. 6-3A Skippers pick up four more wins last week. The senior setter recorded 40 assists in a 3-2 loss to No. 10-3A Wayzata on Sept. 17 and added 29 more — plus 15 digs — in a 3-0 win over Hopkins on Sept. 20. In a 2-0 win over Chanhassen at the host school's home tournament on Sept. 22, Pass notched another 30 assists.

Ainsley Halvorsen, Heritage Christian. Halvorsen had a productive week — recording 45 kills in two matches for the Eagles. The sophomore outside hitter tallied 27 kills, four aces and nine digs in a 3-2 win over Spectrum on Sept. 18, then posted 18 kills, 10 digs, three aces and 12 service receptions in a 3-1 loss to No. 9-1A New Life Academy two days later.
