Top games: New Life Academy's conference title hopes could go through surging Maranatha Christian

We task our reporters with identifying several intriguing games throughout the state to assemble our Top Games of the Week. The matchups are presented in no particular order, and when there are additional games we want to highlight, we’ll include them with brief notes.






Other games to keep an eye on

East Ridge vs. Champlin Park, 7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 11. No. 1-3A Champlin Park (9-1, 1-0) just topped both Lakeville schools in the Southwest Minnesota Challenge, while East Ridge (5-4, 1-0), tied for No. 8-3A, would like to build off a win over Forest Lake in the Shakopee tournament.

Norwood-Young America vs. Belle Plaine, 7 p.m., Thursday, Sept 13. No. 10-2A Belle Plaine 1-1, 1-1) looks to climb the rankings, while Norwood-Young America keeps (7-1, 2-0) knocking on door of the top-10 poll.
