Carly Wedel, Willmar: The 6-foot-1 junior contributed 12 digs and 13 kills in a 2-1 loss to Bethlehem Academy in the Shakopee Invitational on Sept. 9.

Shanice Vaughn, Minneapolis EdisonA senior, Vaughn stood out in the Tommies’ 3-0 victory over Hmong Academy on Sept. 12 with three kills and 31 assists.

Lara Poderzay, Northeast RangeThe sophomore outside hitter had 27 assists in her team’s 3-1 loss to South Ridge on Sept. 11. 

Kailey Ginter, Little Falls: With two kills, 27 assists and seven digs, the junior helped the Flyers edge Foley 3-2 on Sept. 12.

Mykenzie Cole, Minneapolis EdisonThe junior defensive asset impressed with 39 digs and a kill in Edison’s sweep of Hmong Academy.

Lexi Ahrens, VirginiaThe senior had 23 kills, four aces and 16 digs in Virginia’s 3-0 loss to International Falls on Sept. 14.
