The regular season starts this Thursday, and despite another graduating class' departure that’s left some lineups with holes to fill, many of the state’s top programs seem poised to continue their dominance.

Each class' reigning champion retained their top rank by unanimous vote in the Minnesota Volleyball Coaches Association's preseason poll entering the 2017 season. 

But beneath them is a bevy of eager contenders, aiming for acclaim and the top spot while prepping for a postseason run.
