We task our reporters with identifying several intriguing games throughout the state to assemble our Top Games of the Week. The matchups are presented in no particular order, and when there are additional games we want to highlight, we’ll include them with brief notes.

Other games to keep an eye on

Breckenridge vs. Hawley, 7:30 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 19. Only Wayzata has a chance at an umblemished regular-season record. But with a victory on Tuesday, Breckenridge (21-0-1, 6-0) can not only wrap up the Heart O'Lakes Conference championship but finish the season with 22 victories to just one tie. Hawley (11-3, 5-1) can play the spoiler.

Belle Plaine vs. Southwest Christian, 7 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 19. Belle Plaine (16-5, 5-1) is playing at its peak, having won six in a row, including a 2-0 victory over Bloomington Jefferson in the final of the Jaguars' tournament last weekend. No. 1-2A Southwest Christian (24-3, 5-0) had a 17-game winning streak snapped last weekend with a 2-0 loss to Rogers in the St. Michael-Albertville tournament.
