We task our reporters with identifying several intriguing games throughout the state to assemble our Top Games of the Week. The matchups are presented in no particular order, and when there are additional games we want to highlight, we’ll include them with brief notes.

Wayzata vs. Minnetonka, 7 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 12. Minnetonka (14-6, 1-3) was flying high and climbing the Class 4A rankings before a drubbing at Wayzata on Sept. 28. On their home court, the Skippers get another shot at the No. 1-4A Trojans (20-0, 6-0).

Kasson-Mantorville vs. Stewartville, 7:15 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 12. Stewartville (16-0, 6-0), ranked No. 2-3A, and No. 4-3A Kasson-Mantorville (19-3, 6-1) are playing for what will likely be the Hiawatha Valley League championship. The teams could possibly see each other again, in the Class 3A, Section 1 tournament championship.
