And the winner is...MN Volleyball Hub Top Performer revealed

See who fans voted as the top performer from Sept. 20-26

Athletes are considered for the weekly top performer poll only if their stats are entered on the MN Volleyball Hub by 10 a.m. on Sundays. If coaches or members of their staffs need access to enter stats, please email mnhubs@sportngin.com.


Top performer of the week

Avery BollesAndover. Bolles is sixth in the state in kills with 182, and 20 of them came in a 3-1 win over Blaine on sept. 20. She also had six service aces, nine digs and one solo block in the game to help Andover get to 2-1 in the Northwest Suburban Conference.

Top performer candidates

Kyla Hellickson, Fillmore Central. Hellickson had a fantastic performance in a 3-2 win over Lewiston-Altura on Sept. 21. She had seven service aces and 25 digs to lead the Falcons to victory. They remain undefeated (6-0) in the Three Rivers Conference and are 10-7 overall. 

Anna Lockhart, Minnetonka. Lockhart tied a season-high 49 assists in a 2-3 loss to Prior Lake on Sept. 20. It was the ninth time she’s had 30 or more assists in a game this season for the No. 10-ranked team in the Sept. 26 Class 4A coaches' poll and she is second in the state in assists with 469. She also had two service aces and five digs in the loss. 

Stella Swenson, Wayzata. Lockhart and Minnetonka’s next opponent is Swenson and No. 1-4A Wayzata on Sept. 28. Swenson had a strong week. She recorded 118 assists in six games, including two, three-set games with 29 assists at the Eagle Invite. Swenson did more than assist when she had seven service aces in a 2-0 win over Apple Valley on Sept. 24. Wayzata remains undefeated (16-0) this season. 

Rylee Nelson, Zumbrota-Mazeppa. Nelson gave one of the best overall performances during the week. In a Sept. 21, 3-2 win over No. 3-2A Cannon Falls, Nelson had 13 kills, 31 assists, five service aces, 19 digs and three solo blocks. Nelson is second in the state in solo blocks with 26. 

Emily Aho, Dassel-Cokato. At the Charger Challenge, Aho had 18 digs in a 2-1 win over Melrose. Dassel-Cokato is 0-2 in the Wright County West Conference and 9-6-1 overall.
