Lauren Schuman, Rockford. Back to the Wright County West Conference, where Schuman had 51 assists in a 3-1 win over Howard Lake-Waverly-Winsted. It was her second game of the season with 30 or more assists and she added 11 digs in the win.
Carson Klaas, Minneapolis Southwest. Klaas had 11 service aces in a Sept. 15 win over Minneapolis North. The Lakers won 3-0 over their Minneapolis City Conference opponent. Klaas had seven aces going into the game and the 11 she recorded that game is more than half her total on the season – 20.
Mallory Czinano, Watertown-Mayer. In a top-10 Class 2A showdown against Annandale, Czinano’s seven total blocks helped Watertown-Mayer get the 3-1 victory on Sept. 15. She had three solo blocks and four block assists in the game.
Paige Meyer, Lac qui Parle Valley. Meyer, too, joined the block party last week. She recorded five solo blocks in a Sept. 14 victory over Lakeview, bringing her solo block total to 18 in eight games this year.
Molly Sonneson, Hermantown. Sonneson got a season-high 37 digs in a 3-1 victory over Greenway on Sept. 14. Hermantown is 6-2 overall and 1-0 in the Lake Superior Conference.
Julia Hanson, Prior Lake. Hanson had two impressive performances in two South Suburban Conference games. First, she had 24 kills in a Sept. 14 victory over Rosemount. She followed that performance with 26 kills in a 3-2 win over Lakeville South two days later, and Prior Lake moved to 2-0 in the conference and 4-6 overall.
