And the winner is...MN Volleyball Hub Top Performer revealed

See who fans voted as the top performer from Oct. 12-17.

Athletes are considered for the weekly top performer poll only if their stats are entered on the MN Volleyball Hub by 10 a.m. on Sundays. If coaches or members of their staffs need access to enter stats, please email mnhubs@sportngin.com.


Top performer winner

Jaidyn Brower, Stewartville. The senior setter produced 66 set assists and 19 digs in two victories for the Tigers (5-0, 4-0) last week. Brower's consistency was on display with a 30-assist, nine-dig effort in a 3-1 defeat of Goodhue on Oct. 13 and a 36-assist, 10-dig 3-0 sweep of Concordia Academy two days later.

Top performer candidates

Olivia Koeppen, Minnetonka. Koeppen has been in the Skippers’ unblemished start to the season. The senior setter had 60 set assists and 20 digs for the Skippers (3-0, 2-0) last week, with her most prolific performance coming against Eden Prairie on Oct. 12. She piled up 44 set assists and 17 digs in the Skippers’ 3-2 victory over the Eagles. 

Megan Liu, Maple Grove. The senior setter’s week was highlighted by 70 set assists for the Crimson (4-0, 4-0) in two matches. Liu had 40 set assists, three service aces and 11 digs on Oct. 12 in the Crimson’s five-set triumph over Elk River. Two days later she followed that effort with 30 set assists in a straight-sets sweep of Anoka. 

MaKena Panizke, Minnewaska Area. The right-side hitter from Minnewaska Area (1-2, 1-2) had two strong matches last week. In the Lakers’ 3-0 victory over Benson on Oct. 13, Panizke had 20 kills, 34 digs and two service aces. The senior added 11 kills and 24 digs the next night in a four-set loss to Melrose.

Claire Vekich, Greenway. Vekich’s onslaught on offense paced Greenway (3-0, 1-0) to a pair of wins last week. The senior outside hitter recorded 25 kills on Oct. 13 in the Raiders’ 3-0 defeat of Aitkin. Two nights later, Greenway traveled to Hermantown where Vekich provided another 27 kills in a straight-set victory over the Hawks.
