Sophomore setter Emma Berran tallied 16 assists and 11 digs to help lead Eagan to a 25-18, 25-22, 27-25 victory at Stillwater Tuesday night.

The Wildcats, ranked No. 1 in the Class 3A coaches' poll, were without one of the state's top players, Kennedi Orr. The junior setter, who was named the 2018-19 Gatorade Minnesota Volleyball Player of the Year, is with Team USA playing in the FIVB U18 World Championships Cairo, Egypt.

Berran filled the vacant roster spot with an impressive outing and displayed the type of depth and talent that has Eagan (3-0, 0-0) a Class 3A title contender.
