The last unbeaten teams in the Park Region Conference square off Thursday when New York Mills heads to Henning. The teams tied for second in the conference standings last year behind Wadena-Deer Creek — an opponent both defeated this season.
New York Mills swept Wadena-Deer Creek in three sets on Sept. 27 and has won 13 straight. The Eagles (16-1, 4-0) boast a pair of all-Park frontline players in Madalyn Erp and Karli Kawlewski.
Henning beat defending conference champion Wadena-Deer Creek 3-2 on Sept. 13. The Hornets (10-3, 4-0) feature Sydney Eckhoff, an all-conference player, and are led by senior outside hitter Grace Weller.
