Southwest Christian

vs. Holy Angels

7 p.m., Monday, Sept. 17

The Stars, you could say, have aligned for a quality, in this nonconference match between No. 6-2A Southwest Christian and a streaking Holy Angels (7-1, 3-0).

Southwest Christian (5-2, 2-0) lost 3-0 to Shakopee on Aug. 28 and remains as the only test of the season for the Stars, given Totino-Grace is the only opponent they've beaten with a winning record.

Brenna Krommendyk (18 kills) and Mackenzie Close (23 kills) control the middle for a Southwest Christian team averaging 2.7 kills per set.

The other Stars, Holy Angels, feature their own tough front line with Lauren Link and Marie LaFrance. After being swept on Sept. 8 by Hill-Murray, Holy Angels has lost just two sets and is riding a six-match winning streak.
