Shakopee is led by senior outside hitter/setter and Minnesota commit Rachel Kilkelly, who had 359 kills, 252 digs and 362 assists last season. Senior libero Madeline Wherley returns after a 372-dig campaign a year ago.
The Sabers won the final two sets to take last year's match 3-2.
Southwest Christian (2-0) returns 6-foot senior middle Brenna Krommendyk, who recorded 234 kills and 78 blocks last season. Junior Mackenzie Close, also 6-0, added 192 kills and 41 blocks last year.
