Chaska has dropped just one set while winning three straight matches. Senior libero Keena Seiffert and sophomore setter Dana Schindler have emerged as a quality combination for the No. 5-3A Hawks (15-5). Seiffert recorded 17 kills and Schindler distributed 45 assists in a win over Hopkins on Sept. 29.

Belle Plaine suffered its first loss of the season in a non-tournament match on Oct. 6, falling to No. 8-2A Jordan. The No. 1-2A Tigers (19-2ripped off five straight victories following the loss, including four en route to winning the Bloomington Jefferson Tournament on Oct. 10. 

Junior outside hitter Mariena Hayden (312 kills) and junior setter Danielle Taylor (545 assists) pace the Belle Plaine offense.
