St. Croix Lutheran (5-0) picked up its signature win in a five-set marathon with No. 7-2A New Life Academy on Sept. 1. Senior outside hitter Dani Lopez, junior middle hitter Lauryn Sobasky and senior middle hitter Kelly Breuer give the No. 6-2A Crusaders an experienced nucleus. 

Forest Lake (3-4) is another schedule-burdened team, with losses to No. 11-2A Hill-Murray, No. 2-3A Eagan and No. 13-3A Rochester Mayo. The Rangers dress 10 seniors, experience that could play key role in this game.
