Alexandria at Rocori
7 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 10

With seven seniors dotting the roster, Alexandria (2-3) has the experience to make some noise in the Central Lakes Conference. The Cardinals may be looking for a little revenge after losing both games to Rocori last season.

Rocori has won its last four games since losing to No. 4-2A Maple Lake on Aug. 28. The No. 8-2A Spartans are coming off a straight-set win over Brainerd, in which Central Lakes all-conference sophomore setter Elanor Holthaus had 10 kills and senior outside hitter Abby Templin had 12. Last season’s state tournament trip was the first for the Spartans since 1976.
