Hopkins at Roseville
7 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 8

Hopkins is coming off back-to-back four-set losses to No. 5-3A Rosemount and unranked Orono. Minnesota commit junior outside hitter Jasmyn Martin and company will need to shake off the slow starts that have plagued the No. 6-3A Royals, who have been outscored by opponents 50-36 in first sets.

By contrast, Roseville has started the season strong with straight-set wins over Minnetonka and North St. Paul. The No. 7-3A Raiders have shown no ill effects after losing all-state middle hitter Monica Burich, as senior libero Haley Kauth and junior setter Bre Maloney continue to add to their respective school records in career digs and assists.
