ST. PAUL, Minn. -- With 59 digs and seven blocks, Lakeville North allowed Stillwater just an .018 hitting percentage and the Panthers advanced to the Class AAA state semifinals with a 25-22, 25-14, 25-19 win.

Although the Panthers swept their six consecutive match and 13th of their last 14, the match looked as if it may go longer than three sets in the opening frame.

The teams played through seven ties and four lead changes, the last of which came when Elizabeth Juhnke recorded three consecutive kills to turn a 15-14 deficit into a 17-15 lead.

In the second set, an early 6-0 run turned a 4-2 deficit into an 8-4 lead while, in the final set, North needed a 13-5 run in the middle of the set to take an 18-13 lead which would lead the Panthers to closing out the match.

North's 59-dig effort was led by Halle Wolfe's match-high 17, while Arianna Barrett added 12 and Macy Winter 10.

Winter also had four block assists while Tori Thompson had a solo block and three assists with Kennedy Brady adding three block assists.

Juhnke and Kennedy, with 14 and 10 kills apiece, matched Stillwater's total kills.

Up next for the second-ranked and second-seeded Panthers is Moorhead in a semifinal match slated for an 11 a.m. start at Xcel Energy Center.

Halle Wolfe's 17 digs and .958 serve reception percentage led North's back row effort.
