Who was voted as the top performer for Sept. 4-9?

Player of the Week winner

Jenna Scott, Holdingford. Scott had 12 digs and 39 assists in the Huskers’ 3-2 edge over Albany on Tuesday.

Player of the Week candidates

Heather Pirkl, Blooming Prairie. A 5-foot-2 sophomore, Pirkl impressed in a 3-1 victory over Austin Saturday with 34 assists for the Awesome Blossoms.

Alina Gartner, Hill-Murray. The 5-foot-10 senior dominated Saturday’s Eden Prairie Invitational, as she recorded 26 sets to defeat Alexandria 2-0. Gartner also had seven digs and 14 assists in the Pioneers’ 2-0 loss to Minnetonka and 18 assists and six digs in a 2-0 victory over Blaine.

Jenna Scott, Holdingford. Scott had 12 digs and 39 assists in the Huskers’ 3-2 edge over Albany on Tuesday.

Hannah Stark, Esko. The 5-foot-9 senior scored 25 kills when the Eskomos edged Virginia 3-1 on Monday.

Esther Grussing, Willmar. The 5-foot-8 senior contributed a whopping 46 assists to help Willmar defeat Alexandria 3-1 on Tuesday.
