Hill-Murray has won five straight matches since starting the season 2-4. The Pioneers, ranked No. 12 in Class 2A in the latest coaches’ poll, have plenty of weapons on offense to help them continue their hot streak.
Senior outside hitter Ellie Schwartz (162 kills) and senior setter Hannah Angeli (108 kills, 188 assists) are offensive forces, while senior Haley LaValle (166 digs) is excelling as the defensive specialist.
No. 11-3A North St. Paul (10-2) is also riding a hot streak, having not lost a set in four straight victories. The Polars' only losses have been to No. 4-3A Roseville and No. 7-2A New Life Academy.
In a battle between two teams with hot hands, will the Pioneers or the Polars cool off first?
