DeLaSalle has really been tested so far this year, playing the likes of Bloomington Kennedy and Eastview. The Islanders’ schedule doesn’t get any easier when they face another ranked Class AAAA team in Osseo at the Breakdown’s Tip Off Classic.

Both teams made a trip to the state tournament last year, with DeLaSalle bringing home a title. Both teams also rely heavily on a pair of players; Lena Starr and Tyseanna Johnson from DeLaSalle, Janay Morton and Phyllis Webb from Osseo.

• The Orioles have greater depth than DeLaSalle and will get contributions from players like Etheridge and Porte.
• Janay Morton gets hot from three-point land and DeLaSalle cannot answer.
