Eden Prairie wins in 3

The Eagles defeated Owatonna in straight sets to reach the Class 3A semifinals.

Eden Prairie proved ready to defend its title, crushing Owatonna 25-4, 25-18, 25-11.

“It helps to have players who have been here before,” coach Chad Becker said.

Sarah Wilhite had 24 kills and Elizabeth Mohr had 25 kills and 10 digs for the Eagles (27-4).
