A few moments with Hannah Schwartz, a setter for the Hill-Murray volleyball team and a budding fashionista.

Congratulations on winning the Classic Suburban Conference. Thanks. It was really important to us to win it again after winning it two years in a row.

How far can this team go? This year we really want to make it to the state tournament. Last year we lost to East Ridge in the finals in five games. We were just three points away.

What's different about this team? We have seven seniors and a lot of leadership. We have tons of enthusiasm. But our defense is the key. We play great defense.

How do you prepare for a match? Before a match, the team holds hands and sends energy to each other by squeezing each other's hands. It really works.

Any other must-do before a match? I always wear my lucky ribbon on my left shoe. And I always have to have ChapStick.

What are your interests outside of volleyball? I love fashion. I'm obsessed with bows and ribbons. I always wear a bow in my hair. I have probably 50 of them. And I'm really good at doing hair.

Do you do a lot of hair? For prom and homecoming, I do everyone's hair. I find it so fun.

Do they pay you? Some people give me money, some pay in brownies.

Which do you prefer? I prefer brownies.
