Another league title could be on the line Tuesday night, this time in the St. Paul City Conference. Visiting St. Paul Highland Park remains unbeaten in the conference at 8-0, while St. Paul Central sits a half game back in the standings at 8-1.

Since losing against Nova Classical on Sept. 19, the Minutemen have won their last four matches in straight sets — all against league competition.  St. Paul Central’s (10-6) only loss in league play was a 3-1 defeat to the Scots on Sept. 14. Senior right-side hitter Katherine Blaine is the Minutemen’s top attacking option, while setter Lillian Lampros and defensive specialist Jaelyn Young were all-conference honorable mention choices last fall.

St. Paul Highland Park (14-4) features returning all-conference hitters Ellie Egbert and Michaela McGough, both seniors who had more than 100 kills each last season. Senior setter Emma McGrew was an all-conference honorable mention choice.
