Prior Lake at Lakeville North
7 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 18

Prior Lake is one of the few teams that have given Eagan a battle this season, bowing to the No. 1-3A Wildcats 2-1 at the Apple Valley Eagle Invite tournament on Sept. 24.

Following the loss, the No. 5-3A Lakers (19-5, 9-2) won six straight behind a balanced attack featuring five players who each have more than 100 kills on the season. Leading the pack is junior middle blocker Kayla Bair with 187, followed by senior outside hitter Anna Martin with 150.

Winners of six of its last seven matches, Lakeville North has ridden the dynamic tandem of sophomore outside hitters Elizabeth Juhnke (283 kills) and Macy Winter (190 kills) to a tie for second place in a powerhouse-packed South Suburban Conference standings.

With a win in this matchup, the No. 8-3A Panthers (19-8, 6-2) could sole possession of second place behind conference-leading Eagan.
