Belle Plaine at Chaska
7 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 11

Mariena Hayden (262 kills) and Taylor Kruger (131 kills) may well be the difference makers for No. 4-2A Belle Plaine (12-3, 5-0) when the team travels to Chaska on Tuesday.

The dynamic seniors will be the focal points of the Tigers attack, which could use a boost after accumulating all three of their season losses in their last five matches.

Chaska is also on a slide, with the No. 16-3A Hawks (9-10, 6-0) falling in five of their last six matches.

The silver lining for Chaska could be the high level of competition they’ve played recently, with the five losses coming against No. 1-3A Eagan, No. 17-3A Eden Prairie, No. 5-3A Hopkins (twice) and No. 3-3A Lakeville South.
