Rochester Century at Rochester Mayo

A crosstown rivalry between two teams with just three combined losses and Big 9 Conference implications will always find its way into the Top Games of the Week. 

Rochester Century (16-1, 6-0) has won nine straight matches, thanks in large part to the play of senior outside hitter Hannah Weidman, who’s posted 70 kills in eight matches. 

Rochester Mayo (11-2, 4-1) is also on a hot streak, winning four of its last five matches. Senior outside hitter Kate Holtan (149 kills) paces the Spartans offense.

With a win, the Spartans could spoil the Panthers' shot at a conference title, derailing their rival yet again. Mayo ended Century’s season with a victory in the Class 3A, Section 1 quarterfinals last year.
