Stillwater at Cretin-Derham Hall
7 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 4

Stillwater sits atop the Suburban East Conference standings and has won five straight matches, but the Ponies (8-4, 4-0) will need a strong performance to hold off second-place Cretin-Derham Hall.

Stillwater junior Mikayla Gjerde was outstanding in last season's thrilling five-set win over the Raiders, recording a game-high 23 kills.

Two seniors key the Raiders' attack, with 6-foot-4 senior outside hitter Brynn Carlson (218 kills) and middle blocker Kate Kohler (91 kills) forming an impressive offensive front.

If Carlson and Kohler can turn in big performances, Cretin-Derham Hall (18-6, 6-2) could take over the top spot in the Suburban East.
