Rochester Mayo at Mankato West
7 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 20

Since a two-set loss to No. 8-3A Shakopee in the Shakopee tournament Sept. 10, Rochester Mayo (8-1, 2-0) has won back-to-back games over Willmar and Mankato East.

Heading into this Big 9 Conference matchup, the No. 13-3A Spartans will look for leadership from senior outside hitter Kate Holtan, who paces the team with 96 kills.

Mankato West (8-2, 3-0) must rebound after falling to Hutchinson 3-1 on Sept. 15. The Scarlets have their own offensive threat in senior middle hitter Krista Goerger, who had 16 kills in a victory over Maple River on Sept. 1 and 13 more in a win at rival Mankato East a week later.
