Jordan at St. Michael-Albertville
3 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 27

St. Michael-Albertville returns 11 letterwinners, giving the team a wealth of experience at each position.

The Knights are led by outside hitter Alia Dorland (137 kills, 201 digs) and libero Zoee Miller (237 digs), two juniors who were all-Mississippi 8 Conference selections last year. Junior setter Lexie Nelson (470 assists), who was named all-conference honorable mention, also is back.

Senior outside hitter Brooke Sievers (170 kills, 403 digs) enters the season with more than 1,000 digs, and the All-Minnesota River Conference pick is expected to add to the total while leading No. 10-2A Jordan. Meg Schmidt (157 kills, 138 blocks), a 6-foot-2 junior middle hitter, should also provide some offense for the Jaguars.
