Rosemount (21-4, 6-1) is just one game ahead of Lakeville South in the South Suburban Conference standings. Senior outside hitter Brittany McLean has racked up 114 kills in right recorded games, including an impressive 27-kill performance in the No. 5-3A Irish's 3-1 victory over Apple Valley on Oct. 1. 

No. 3-3A Lakeville South (21-5, 6-2) has won 11 of its last 13 matches, thanks in large part to the play of Jenny Mosser. The junior outside hitter leads the state with 445 kills and has 256 digs. Senior outside hitter/setter Emily Hoff (549 assists) and junior outside hitter Halle Johnston (177 kills/279 digs) round out the Cougars offense.
