DeLaSalle at St. Croix Lutheran
7 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 23

St. Croix Lutheran hasn’t lost a Tri-Metro Conference match since Oct. 12, 2011 when Visitation defeated the Crusaders. St. Croix Lutheran (12-2) is back atop the conference. The Crusaders have won their first four league matches despite graduating All-State players in Rachel Grev and Afton Sobasky. The Crusaders' next generation has stepped up including sophomore setter Lauryn Sobasky. Senior libero Kelsey Kowitz is one of the few carryovers from St. Croix Lutheran’s only state tournament trip in 2012.

DeLaSalle hopes to break the Crusaders’ streak and may have the team to accomplish that feat. The Islanders are 4-0 in the conference and have won four consecutive matches led by All-Conference outside hitters Maddie Duffy and Ella Heinemann.
