Central Minnesota Christian at Minneota
5 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 25

Supremacy in southwestern Minnesota's Camden Conference is at stake when Minneota hosts Central Minnesota Christian on Thursday. The Vikings, No. 4 in Class 1A, are 6-0 in the conference while CMC, No. 10-1A, is 4-1 after five league matches. The Bluejays are rolling after a big weekend at the Class A Showcase in Burnsville, where they advanced to the championship match before falling to New Life Academy, No. 7-1A. Senior middle Lexi Scott is one of the top players in Class 1A and is a load for most teams to handle. However, the Vikings may be one team that can stop Scott.

Minneota features arguably Class 1A's top hitter in senior middle Taylor Reiss. Her explosiveness is evident but it’s her all-around game including solid back row play that makes her and the Vikings a tough matchup.
